Coastal shipping and modal freight choice

The purpose of this study was to provide, on a nation-wide basis, a greater understanding of the freight market, with a key focus on the relative positioning and determinants of coastal shipping, to assist in the formulation of transport policy and related funding allocations. The study was funded through the 2008/09 Domestic Sea Freight Development Fund (DSFDF) and was undertaken by Rockpoint Corporate Finance Ltd.
