Vehicle width restriction on SH25 north of Thames

Te Puru Stream Bridge on State Highway 25, approximately 11 km north of Thames, is temporarily restricted to vehicles less than 3.5 metres wide.

Development of the Puhoi-to-Wellsford Road of National Significance has taken an important step forward with the NZ Transport Agency awarding a contract for investigation work to decide what alignment the road will follow.
Urgent road works on Napier–Wairoa State Highway 2

The NZ Transport Agency (NZTA) advises that urgent remedial road works are about to start just to the north of the Matahorua Gorge and the Matahorua Gorge Realignment project in the vicinity of the Samarkand Station, on SH2 about 50km north of Napier/70km south of Wairoa.
